I just got two awards from my good friend Abby, who is working with me to get the Autobiography site up. Thanks so much Abby. You are a fantastic pal. rrr

mWell, pups, it seems being a show dog, a clown, and a better-than-average dancer isn't quite enough for my Mama. Now she wants to add to my repertoire and teach me how to sing!

I swear it's true. Would I make this up?

She saw some videos on YouTube of singing Boxers that made her laugh so hard, and now she's got this notion in her head that if they can do it, so can I. And now I'm taking singing lessons.

Teaching me how to sing is Mama's latest project. Oh no. Not another project. Remember her last project: she was going to show me in the ring? We all know what happened to that one. Well, here she goes again.

Anyway, she sat me down last night and started yodelling in my face. (Yes, Mama yodels.)

And she had this wierd, expectant look on her face, like she thought I was going to be as passionate about this as she is, and join in her silly song.

"Come on, Chef, sing," she said. "Sing for Mama. Hodl-ay-eeee-deeeeee..."

Well, I kind of stared blankly at her, totally bored, and then I just slipped away to find something more interesting to do, like sleep.

"It's OK," she said. "We'll just keep trying." Great, Mama. Just what I want.

Anyway, I'll amuse her and go along with it for a while but honestly, it doesn't look promising.

..... Although, you never know .... maybe if she got a harmonica ..... or an accordian!

Do you think I'll learn how to sing?

I'll keep you posted on my progress. Eventually, you'll either see videos of me staring off into space as Mama pleads with me to sing, or you'll see me howling my heart out.

In the meantime, here are some of the videos that got us started on this nonsense.

In this next one, the dogs are actually talking! I slipped it in because it's so hilarious. But I can't let Mama see it or she'll start trying to teach me how to talk too.
