We've really been missing dog shows lately, but this past weekend we had our fix.
We took our first winter road trip to do a show near Glens Falls, NY and it was great fun. We stayed at a really nice motel where I spent lots of time jumping on and off the bed and chewing on my new squeaky ball. And I made a whole bunch of new American friends.
You'll never guess what happened on Sunday - I saw Mama kissing another dog! Yup, that's right. From high up on my grooming table I got an excellent view of the arena. A few feet away, I saw that Oscar the Pitbull set up a kissing booth. Hey, that was smart, I thought ....
Dude, turn around or you're not going to get even one kiss!
... til I spotted this: Mama getting a smooch from dumb ol' whats-his-name. See?
I couldn't believe my eyes!! I thought I was her favourite dog. Well, I know I'm her favourite because she's always loving me up. And she only wanted a couple of slurps from this guy. But she did seem a little taken by him and it made me feel, I dunno ... jealous.
Then to add insult to injury, she got this sticker and wore it all afternoon.
So at the motel I sulked. Can you blame me?
Anyway, later in the evening we went for a drive and I was so quiet in the back seat. So Mama gave me chin tickles and kisses and a cookie! And I felt much better.
........................Crunch. Crunch. OK, I'm over it.
At the motel I played with my new squeaky ball. It is my toy du jour. I love it so much.
Here are some interesting sights from the show.

At the start of American shows, everyone stops to sing The Star Spangled Banner and O Canada. We love that. It's very classy.
A couple of weeks ago, I promised to pass on the awards I got from Abby, Tucker, Oscar and Tinkerbell. I'm sending them on to:
Have a great week.
