OK, so I'm letting Mama have her fun. At my expense. Go ahead, Mama, embarrass me. That's alright. I'll let it go just this once.
Since the "hilarious" picture is now posted for all the world to see - and snicker at, no doubt - let me explain.
Papa had just let me lick the bottom of his yogurt bowl and it left me with a couple of well-defined white splotches on my mouth.
So I'm sitting there all puffed up and proud that I'd just copped some yogurt, and Mama starts shrieking with laughter.
Ok, so what's the big deal?
'Course, I couldn't see the splotches so I just sat there wondering what the heck was so funny. Rabbit teeth? My teeth were exactly the same as always, far as I could tell. Then Mama bounded up the stairs to get her camera.
Just before she snapped this picture, she took a napkin and touched up the spots a bit, "so they'll show up better."
And now we have this:
OK, if you can stop laughing long enough to tell me why our parents love it when we look silly, I'd really appreciate it. Frankly, I don't see the humour in robbing a dog of his dignity, do you? I mean, I like making them laugh but this is ridiculous.
