Stick hunting season is here!

March 29 /09
*
I've gone on my first stick hunt of the season!
*
Now that most of the snow has melted, there are all kinds of great sticks lying around. So the other day I went sniffing for my first sticks of the season.

Heading out and scoping the neighbourhood for new sticks.

Seaching high and low for the perfect stick. I wanted to impress my new friend Princesse by carrying a nice big stick past her house.

I found this stick. It wasn't very big but I gave it all I've got ...
z

... right here outside her house where she could see me.

I power-munched that sucker for 20 minutes!z

Munch, munch, munch.

z

Princesse didn't come outside.

Then look what I found!

Isn't it spectacular? If this monster stick doesn't get Princesse's attention, nothing will. I'm going to carry it back and forth outside her house tomorrow til she notices me and comes outside to play.

To be continued ...

Chef,
That jumbo stick impresses me but I guess you only want Princess's attention.
The length of that stick is probably longer than the length of us 3 brothers together, hehe!

Chef! We are impressed by that stick just from the photo so surely she will be impressed when she sees it in person! it sounds like you need to keep guard outside her house until she notices!

You really are an expert at stick hunting, Chef! I went on a stick hunt the other day for my grandmother and it took me and my hoomans forever to find just the right ones. Perhaps if you came along we would have been much quicker at completing our quest. Thanks for the award! I'll have to ask my mom to help me list 10 things about me. Hopefully she won't remember anything too embarrassing!

Oh my goodness, Chef - what a FABULOUS stick! It sure impresses me!!! :-) I love going stick hunting too and chewing them up, especially if I can find a nice, fat one which doesn't break immediately.

I just want you to know that the green bone you gave me for the International Goodie Exchange still lives!!! Though the squeak died - I like to prance errr I mean run like mad with it in my mouth!

I miss you dud!

Gosh, why my mom has to work 5 long days a week and where she works, surfing Internet is like committing a crime. Site block! that's what she gets when she clicks on the external websites! I'm so behind of reading all my favorite blogs!
Please come pick up your Awards that I love to give to you, love ya lot!
